Hello, I’m Christian Goebel with Cast-A-Way Cabins and Shenandoah River Outfitters here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I started out with a family canoe business with some property on the Shenandoah River. Ten years ago I put in the 250-square foot Kit Cabins. They were an immense success. Over the years, the demand for the cabins has continued to increase. The rental aspect of my business has grown so much that I moved up to the 1000-square foot Mountain King. These cabins appeal to the folks in the Washington, D.C. area, which is within 2 hours, and it’s opened up opportunities to not only rent them in the summertime, but also through the winter months.
