Question:: What kind of wood is used for the cabins?
Answer: The walls of the cabins are made of glue-laminated logs which have proven to be the ideal process with its excellent durability.

The floor of a cabin needs to be tough and attractive. For this reason, we believe the #1 dense Southern-Yellow-Pine (SYP) is the best wood for the application. It holds up to the wear and tear while maintaining its beauty over the years.

Question: How are the cabins shipped?
Answer: The cabins are typically shipped on a flatbed tractor trailer. This provides the best method for unloading as well as the least expensive means of shipping the product. Click on the picture to see a typical load.

Question: Can the cabins be moved after assembly?
Answer: Yes. Some of the smaller cabins can be moved however, we do not recommend moving cabins larger than the 13'x13' model.

Question: Do I need a building permit?
Answer: Not in all locations however, state and local laws vary greatly from state-to-state. It is advisable to check with your local officials concerning the regulations in your area.
