My husbamd Paul B. Knight and my son Calvin J. Webb, Jr. own a farm not far from our home in South Carolina. Several years ago Calvin obtained a Conestoga Log Cabins catalog and said someday he wanted to build one.

We did not know much about Conestoga and began to investigate. During this time Paul read in a hunting magazine a story about Conestoga Log cabins and people that build them. He also at that time received a Cabela's catalog which listed Conestoga log cabins for sale. We have a good business relationship with Cabela's and knew they only sell good quality merchandise. We called Cabela's with a lot of questions, some they preferred your company answer. Thank God we were connected with Steve Campbell with your company. Steve could answer all our questions and worked to make sure all our schedules could be met before we ordered the cabin, which was not easy because of our tight schedule and your large volume of cabins ordered for the summer.

We love having our cabin on the farm. Because of our tight schedules we do not have all the furniture in yet. I have a back that will not allow me to sit in a deer stand longer than an hour at a time, with the cabin I can go to the cabin for a while then back to the deer stand. Calvin Jr. and Calvin III are so proud of building the cabin that they have shown pictures to anyone who would look at them, causing Steve Campbell to mail many more of your catalogs to interested people. Also, Calvin Jr. gave the catalog Steve sent to the solar energy teacher at his school and she has applied for a grant for the students to build a solar energy Conestoga Log Cabin. Calvin volunteered to help build it, we will then make our cabin a solar energy one too.

Because of our families busy schedule and the fact that they do not live here, it was wonderful having them in our home while they were building the cabin. The three Calvins, senior, junior, and the third, spent many long hours each day building the cabin. With the help of Paul and good friend J.H. Lott, the cabin was completed in three weeks thanks also to the cooperation of Conestoga's Steve Campbell, Randy Sechrist and the furnished plans. We made wonderful memories and are ready to order more Conestoga log cabins when our schedule permits. What does that say about your company.
